THE BLUEFIN WARRANTY
Here at Bluefin we are 100% committed to our customers, and provide a free 12 month warranty on all of our brand new hoverboards.
We have so much confidence in our product that if any technical problems arise within the first 12 months we will fix it for free! For the first 6 months of the warranty, a prepaid DPD Drop off returns label is provided by us for the return of any faulty goods. Sadly we cannot arrange collections. After this time, it would be the customer’s responsibility to cover the costs of the return postage, and we will cover the cost back to you; so effectively splitting the costs.
We always recommend sending the item back in it’s original packaging to protect the item during transport. As soon as the item is back with us and has undergone routine checks, we’ll be able to take your case further and either exchange, repair or refund your item as agreed. If the item is found to have been damaged in transit due to poor packaging, the customer will be liable to pay for the repair.
Please note, it can take up to 28 days for a return to be processed once we have received your consignment. Refunds are only available in the first 14 days from the start of the warranty.
The Bluefin warranty covers any technical faults with your item but does not cover the following:
- General wear and marks from use.
- Water damage.
- Damage due to improper use such as riding over leaves, through puddles or through tall grass.
- Chassis damage and scratching due to improper use or dropping.
- Electronic damage due to improper use or dropping.
- Damage caused by collisions or accidents whilst riding the board.
We will cover any manufacturing faults and electrical malfunctions and repair or replace your board if any of these problems arise.
Your 12 month warranty begins on receipt of delivery and if your board is over 12 months old we sadly cannot accept any items back for repair, but we can recommend a great repair service for you.
Please note, all refurbished hoverboards come with a 6 month warranty for any purchases made on 16th September 2019 onwards. All refurbished hoverboard orders come with a 14 day cancellation policy, where you can return the item for a full refund or replacement (like for like). When purchasing this item, you waive any right to a replacement, and this will be at the discretion of Bluefin Hoverboards. If we cannot repair or replace the refurbished item, we will fully refund. We will accept any brand new unused or faulty item back for full refund within 30 days. Please note the item must be unused, sealed and in its original packaging. All items will be checked upon arrival and we will issue a prepaid label for the return of any faulty items. If you have simply changed your mind, you would be responsible for paying the return postage to us. Please note it can take up to 28 days to for the return to be processed once received.
If an item is faulty it can be returned to us for a refund or replacement within 30 days of purchase. The item will be thoroughly checked by our technicians upon arrival and refunds can only be issued if the board has a manufacturing or electrical fault. If a product fault is reported after 30 days, we will offer a free repair service and we will only replace if the repair cannot be made. Replacements are at the full discretion of Bluefin Active.
